Featuring timeless songs by legendary songwriters including Cole Porter, George Gershwin and Michel Legrand, the evening showcases music made famous by Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Nat King Cole, Bobby Darin, Chet Baker and Michael Bublé.
Known for his velvet-smooth vocals, quick wit and effortless charm, Flynn transforms every performance into an intimate and engaging experience. He is joined by the exceptional Ray Walker Trio, featuring Ray Walker on guitar, Mike Nelson on piano and Cass Evans-Ocharern on bass.
Now residing overseas, Flynn returns to Perth for one of only a handful of local performances this year. Settle in for an evening of timeless melodies, great stories and plenty of swing in the intimate surrounds of the Brighton.

The Festival Sundowner: Catherine Summers Quartet

Settle in for an intimate winter jazz sundowner with one of Perth’s most beloved jazz vocalists, Catherine Summers.
Guests will be welcomed from 4pm with a drink and light canapés before enjoying an elegant live music experience in a warm and inviting setting. Following the first set, guests can relax during a cosy winter intermission before returning for the second half of the performance.
Catherine presents her celebrated Reimagined show — where timeless jazz meets contemporary pop in unexpected and delightful ways. Expect to hear fresh jazz interpretations of songs by artists including Eurythmics, Dua Lipa, David Bowie, Bruce Springsteen, George Michael, alongside Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald. The afternoons selection will also include jazz classics such as My Favourite Things, Moondance, Fly Me To The Moon and As Time Goes By.
Joined by acclaimed Perth musicians Jackson VanBallegooyen (piano), Shane Pooley (double bass) and Dan Harrison (drums), settle in for a special afternoon of jazz at one of the newest and most exciting venues to join the festival program.
